NO NEED TO RE-STUCCO THE ENTIRE HOME
DANIEL’S PAINTING repairs damaged stucco and drywall on most of the exteriors that we paint, and in multiple areas of the surfaces to be painted.
We will repair your stucco or drywall, and then texture it to match your existing texture, so that it blends beautifully what you already have.
Stucco damage is caused by water in most instances, normally at the base of the walls. It is usually caused by sprinklers or pooling water.
Clients may think that they need to pay for a complete re-stucco of their home. In some cases this may be needed, but in most cases it is not.
The product that we use and trust is the Rapid Set brand. It is a stronger stucco mix than the stucco that your home was built with originally. It sets and performs more like cement than stucco.
If the damage is extra deep, we will use mortar mix, wire, and waterproof tar paper first, and then finish with the stucco on top of that mixture.
As long as the source of the damage - the sprinklers or water pooling – is directed away from the stucco, the stucco that we install will last for the lifetime of your home.
